It is easy to say that the story sounds like a true history or at least relatively so: -The book has several aspects that although imaginary make you think it’s easy for the same situation to happen in real life.

I became absorbed in this book the minute I started reading it. Clarissa and the other characters in the story are vivid and real and I found myself really connecting to them. The story of Clarissa's quest to find find peace with her past is compelling - I actually finished this short novel in one sitting! I'm looking forward to reading more books by this author...
Exceptional and exciting ! A must read.
The title is presumptuous my misleading; the main character did Nothing wrong.Rather she was a victim. I enjoyed reading the beginning of a story with possibilities, but the book stopped abruptly and leaves the reader wondering if that's really the end. It's like the author just got up and left....
Well, it's a tragic story,and it's extremely short.its be nip ice to hear in fact how she left " the profession" and did she reclaim herself? But I'm giving it three stars because of its raw,true quality, and is nicely written.
About a young girl sexually molested by a relative in the 1800's. Due to that fact she was mentally broken at the age of 8. When a family member died she left home and her parents that loved her deeply and joined a brothel.
I was just browsing to do some light reading while I am on a vacation last weekend and I say it is entertaining, indeed fun to read that I momentarily forgot where am I. I liked how the author wrote the story with such clarity and details that I felt I was watching a movie in my head or was there in the scenes and witnessing it first hand. I liked how the story went and how the characters were developed which I relate at some point. Good job.
I enjoy reading Westerns because they transport me to another era. This novella did not disappoint, and I could almost see the tumbleweed drifting through Clarissa's life as I read it. Her story is one of change and redemption, and I really enjoyed watching her character's arc change and evolve throughout. I really admire the main character for her grit and determination. I look forward to reading more of her story. Wayne Dearman's has done great work here.
